Carrying on, according to The Merriam Webster dictionary is: foolish, excited,
or improper behavior ; also :
an instance of such behaviour. Just moosin around, would fall into that definition when applied to moose doing something out
of the ordinary. Although, it may seem out of the ordinary to us, to a moose, it might be just moosin around.

Just Moos'n Around
...Here is how lucky we are in Kitimat, the moose come to us before
hunting season just to show off…… Bill is standing
on a friend's deck at the "cablecar" sub division. The deck is about two feet off of the ground Bill is about five ten and 220 lbs so the moose is a fair sized critter. See pic below..
